Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TaskFlow, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including clients and freelancers.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. TaskFlow is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use TaskFlow. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. User Roles and Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for the accuracy of tasks, project descriptions, and any payments made to freelancers. TaskFlow is a platform and is not a party to any client-freelancer agreement.
Freelancers are responsible for the quality and timeliness of their work. Freelancers must not misrepresent their capabilities or experience.
All users must not use TaskFlow for illegal purposes, to harass others, to upload malicious files, or to violate any applicable laws.
4. Payments and Billing
Plan upgrades are processed via PayPal. By completing a payment, you authorize TaskFlow to activate the selected plan. All charges are in USD.
Plan prices: Pro Plan — $8/month; Expert Plan — $15/month. Prices may change with 30 days notice.
Downgrading is available at any time from the Billing page. You retain access to higher-tier features until your current billing period ends (or immediately upon downgrade, depending on implementation).
TaskFlow does not issue refunds except where required by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property
TaskFlow and its content (excluding user content) are owned by TaskFlow and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their content (messages, files, task descriptions) uploaded to the platform. By uploading content, you grant TaskFlow a limited license to store and serve it for the purpose of operating the service.
6. File Upload Restrictions
Files uploaded to TaskFlow (message attachments, etc.) are subject to the following restrictions:
- Executable files (.exe, .bat, .cmd, .scr, .sh, .js standalone scripts, etc.) are blocked at the upload level.
- Individual file size limits apply per upload. Do not attempt to circumvent these limits.
- You may not upload content that violates third-party intellectual property rights.
- Uploaded files are accessible only to conversation participants — enforced at the database level.
7. Anti-Abuse Policy
TaskFlow has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
- Harassment, threats, or hate speech directed at other users.
- Attempting to access other users' data, accounts, or private messages without authorization.
- Automated scraping, denial-of-service attacks, or abuse of our APIs.
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or bans.
- Uploading malware, viruses, or other malicious content.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund. Severe violations will be reported to relevant authorities.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your profile, tasks, messages, and uploaded files will be removed per our Privacy Policy.
Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any paid subscription fees unless required by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
TaskFlow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskFlow and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, lost revenue, or lost profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of TaskFlow shall not exceed the amount you paid to TaskFlow in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of TaskFlow after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
